Supplies and Services Department, Oman College of Management and Technology, is committed to providing and maintaining a clean, productive, and comfortable working environment for its staff, students, visitors, and anyone who might be affected by its services. SSD Responsibilities
The department has a wide range of responsibilities including:
Completing all procedures pertaining to visits of formal delegations; e.g. reception and bidding farewell in the airport, obtaining entry visas, booking hotels and airplane seats, and providing necessary means of transport for them.
Making preparations and arrangements for conferences, symposium, meetings and formal parties organized by the college.
Receiving service provision/purchase orders and taking the necessary course of action with regard thereto in accordance with the valid law and regulations, including soliciting, analyzing, and making relevant recommendations on tenders.
Supervising the college-owned and hired vehicles' drivers for student transport purposes; e.g. movement, maintenance, fuel consumption and insurance.
Supervising the college buildings and making necessary maintenance work, whenever necessary.Leasing the necessary premises for the college whenever necessary.
Supervising the cafeteria in terms of cleaning, diverse food and beverages served, and price control.Undertaking any relevant tasks to be assigned by the college's dean or assistant dean.
Receiving the incoming correspondences to the college and distributing the same to concerned bodies.
Making necessary bookings for the travel of expatriate academic staff and personnel, in coordination with the concerned bodies.
Delivering the college's outgoing correspondences to the concerned bodies.Distribution of resolutions, publications and circulars issued by the college.
Planning, organising, and implementing preventive, corrective, proactive maintenance and cost reduction and energy saving programmes.
Overseeing all building modification and refurbishment projects.
Organizing and overseeing the cleaning of all campus buildings
Monitoring all complaints regarding building facilities and making the necessary arrangements to resolve them.
Ensuring all college classrooms/Offices and common areas are equipped with correct furniture and equipment.
Monitoring the proper functioning of campus equipment, building services, infrastructure, environment, and safety condition (e.g. lighting, ventilation, water, sanitary services.
SSD Services

Maintenance
Maintenance services follow-up the college properties in terms of electrical, electronics, HVAC and furniture, etc., and provides technical and periodical maintenance to it.

Cleaning Services
Cleanliness Services work towards keeping a clean and healthy environment in the college campus through making contracts with specialized companies. However, the office is committed to follow up the cleaning companies in order to provide quality cleaning service.

Transportation
OCMT works toward providing transportation service for: post transfer; students’ visits, emergency medical cases, transport for participating in external events and activities; etc.

Store
The store receives, keeps, and manages the materials purchased for the college. It eventually manages to distribute the required materials to each department, as well as supplying them with the required materials for the next academic year.

Security Guards
The main responsibility of the security guards is to keep the campus safe and secure from any expected or unexpected issues of crimes or corruption. Also they manage the entrance gate and guard the college from any unauthorized people.

Gardens And Gardening Green spaces have a significant impact in human psychology. we follow up to take care of plants and cover the campus areas with plants and green grass.

Supplies and Services Department, Oman College of Management and Technology, is committed to providing and maintaining a clean, productive, and comfortable working environment for its staff, students, visitors, and anyone who might be affected by its services.
Please fill up the Maintenance Request Form. Or please call 2405 1016/2405 1031/2405 1043 to report any utility issues. Please be specific on the location, and please immediately report if there is a hazard (steam or gas leak, a large hole, electrical lines exposed, etc.).
A maintenance request is generally completed for maintenance/repair of building and systems including heating, air conditioning, ventilating, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems, equipment installed as integral parts of the building, maintenance and repair of walks, lawns, trees, shrubs and so on.
A service request is generally completed for departmental equipment and special departmental equipment, installation of items such as pictures, and equipments or asking for furniture moving and so on.
If you are one of the following departments (HR, TSD, SA, M&PR) please fill the form of purchase request form, if you are from other departments, please send an email of the requirements.
Fill out a Key Request Form for each individual requesting a key. For asking a master key the dean should sign the form.
