The college participated in the Third International Conference on “The Role of Women in Family and Community Health”, organized by Al-Zahra University in Tehran, held from May 14–15, 2025, with the participation of Ms. Jihan Al-Udhubi and Ms. Thuraya Al-Farsi as representatives of the college.
The conference addressed a wide range of important topics related to women, including the economic status of women, their role in promoting community health, and the health of women and families from both religious and legal perspectives. Ms. Thuraya contributed with a research paper entitled "Economic Trends of Women in the Sultanate of Oman 2025", highlighting key legal transformations supporting women's participation in the national economy. Meanwhile, Ms. Jihan presented a paper titled “The Role of Women in Family Recovery After Crises”, where she discussed the strengths women possess that help reduce the development of family disorders following crises.
This participation shed light on the college’s research contributions in international academic forums and highlighted its efforts to support women's issues and empowerment on social and economic levels. It also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic collaboration with institutions from various countries, opening new horizons for research and development. Through this participation, the college reaffirms its continuous commitment to addressing societal issues and enhancing its scientific presence in the fields of women's empowerment and sustainable development.
