The Codebreakers Qualify for OCPC 2025 Finals!

OCMT proudly announces that its team, The Codebreakers, has successfully qualified for the final round of the Oman Collegiate Programming Contest (OCPC) 2025. The prestigious event will be held at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) from April 8-9, 2025.

This remarkable achievement reflects the talent, dedication, and problem-solving excellence of our students, who have demonstrated their coding prowess in this highly competitive event. The OCPC is a renowned platform that brings together the brightest minds from universities across Oman to compete in algorithmic programming and problem-solving challenges.

Dr. Ishtiaque Mahmood, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Computer Science and MIS at OCMT, expressed his pride in the team’s success:

“This accomplishment stands as a testament to the perseverance and hard work of our students. Qualifying for the final round is an immense honor, and we are confident that they will continue to excel in the competition.”

The college extends its sincere gratitude to the Deanship of the College for its unwavering support in providing the necessary resources, infrastructure, and mentorship. This backing has played a vital role in equipping The Codebreakers with the skills and confidence needed to compete at this elite level.

The final round of OCPC 2025 will feature an intensive two-day schedule, including a practice contest on April 8, followed by the actual competition on April 9. The event will conclude with a grand closing ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the participants.
