The Dean and his assistants also presented the college’s research initiatives, including support for graduation projects, encouragement of academic staff to publish scholarly work, and the adoption of innovation and artificial intelligence in administrative and technological disciplines. They emphasized the college’s commitment to linking research activities with labor market needs and local community development through academic partnerships inside and outside the Sultanate.

Her Excellency then proceeded to the college’s conference hall, where the Dean delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the college’s major achievements, academic programs, and the wide range of educational and support facilities provided to students. The session was attended by the Assistant Deans and several college officials, including the Head of the Quality Assurance Department.

The visit also included an extended campus tour, during which Her Excellency explored the classrooms, laboratories, student service areas, and the Student Affairs Department, where she was introduced to the student guidance and support system, as well as mechanisms used to enhance student life on campus.

In an initiative to promote student engagement, a dialogue session was held in the student services building between Her Excellency and members of the Student Advisory Council. The Council President delivered a presentation outlining the role of the Council and its initiatives in empowering students and amplifying their voices within the college community. The session was marked by a rich discussion, during which Her Excellency emphasized the importance of empowering women in leadership roles. She affirmed that Arab women have proven their competence in various areas of responsibility, urging female students to trust their capabilities and take initiative in student leadership and university activities.

For his part, the Dean encouraged members of the Student Advisory Council to actively participate in college events and to motivate their fellow students to engage with both academic and community programs. He stressed that student engagement is a fundamental component of the holistic development of the university student.
