On Monday, June 10, 2024, Oman College of Management and Technology celebrated the establishment of the "Sarajion Day" event in the college's auditorium AC-007. The event witnessed a wide attendance from the academic and administrative staff and students. This celebration aimed to enhance cooperation with the Siraj Endowment Foundation and support the noble goals pursued by the foundation.
The event began with welcoming the attendees and participants, warmly greeting them, and organizing them in the hall. The event was inaugurated with recitations from the Holy Quran by the student Hamdan Al-Sabahi, adding a spiritual atmosphere to the beginning. Dr. Hazem Muqaddadi delivered an impactful opening speech, discussing the college's vision, the importance of establishing the Sarajion Club, and its role in supporting the Siraj Endowment Foundation. He also proudly announced the college's donation to cover the membership fees of the Siraj Endowment Foundation for the members of the Sarajion Club.
Engineer Mahmoud Al-Hadidi delivered a valuable speech, discussing the goals of the Siraj Foundation and its fruitful cooperation with the college to achieve a shared vision aimed at developing education and serving the community. This was followed by the official announcement of the establishment of the Sarajion Club, where the student Al-Aws Al-Buraiki, the club president, provided a comprehensive overview of the club's goals, organizational and administrative structure, and its role in supporting the Siraj Endowment Foundation. Subsequently, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Hadidi awarded the club members with membership medals, in appreciation of their contributions and efforts in supporting the club and achieving its goals.
The event concluded with a warm hospitality session and exchange of conversations among the esteemed attendees. Informational brochures about the Sarajion Club and the Siraj Endowment Foundation were distributed to enhance awareness of these distinguished initiatives.
