The Quran and the Family Lecture

In recognition of the college's belief in the importance of preserving moral and religious values and encouraging students to adhere to them for their positive impact on individuals and families and given the significance of continuous collaboration among various community institutions for the common good, the Social and psychological counseling office at the student’s affairs department organized a lecture titled "The Quran and the Family." The esteemed Dr. Youssef bin Mohammed Al-Attar, an educational and psychological consultant, delivered the lecture on Monday, April 29, 2024, on the college campus. The lecture addressed several aspects, including the natural formation of the family and its role as a central hub for raising generations with values that ensure social stability. It emphasized the importance of familial bonds and nurturing healthy family relationships to build a society based on noble values and ethics. Furthermore, it delved into the concept of the relationship between the individual and the family, highlighting the responsibilities incumbent upon individuals to protect and guide their families towards happiness and stability, citing the Prophet Muhammad's advice regarding women. The lecture concluded with a recommendation for positive interaction and ethical behavior both within and outside the family. The lecture received significant engagement from attendees, reflected in the abundance of questions and discussions that ensued.
